Dana's Cradle
Hello and welcome to Dana's Cradle, a fansite dedicated to Tales of the Rays! This site is currently a work in progress, so resources may be incomplete and pages may be missing.
Tales of the Rays was a crossover entry in the Tales of series. The game was launched on smart phones in March 2017, and after 2,703 days of operation, it was announced the game would end live service in July 2024.
Against all odds, Rays captured my heart with its story. This site is dedicated to preserving and honoring this silly little gacha game I ended up loving so much, and, hopefully, allowing people who never played the game while it was live to understand why I loved it.
To that end, my most important goal is to provide the options available for experiencing the story now that the game has ended live service. ...But I also want to just talk about why I love this game, too!!

It's been a while, whoops... Turns out that to update a website you have to actually post the updates, huh.
The skits page is now available! As I implied previously, it's not done yet, and you can expect it to take a while. I've also added a page of links to other sites! If you have a site or other project you think would be a good fit for this site to link to, feel free to get in touch!
Also, whether on that page or elsewhere: If your translations or other resources are linked on this site and you want them removed or for any modifications to be made to how you're credited (anonymization, changing the name, even something as simple as capitalization changes), please contact me! 2025-01-07The story index now has all events included! I'll try to get skits finished too, but there's 2+ skits per character, and nearly 300 characters... It may take a while.
Small edits made to the offline play guide. It's still incomplete...
2024-11-12I've belatedly updated the installation guide to note that the official servers are no longer up. Good night Rays, you will missed.
The story index now contains all available event & main story translations. JP raws are still missing for most of the Recollection events, and I haven't started on skits.
Thank you to everyone in the community who made fan translations, wrote summaries, cracked open the game or even indirectly helped me learn reverse engineering skills, helped with archival work, or anything else that made this website possible or otherwise aided the fandom as a whole.
